Rock garden or clover lawn?
We are having our deck replaced and I’d like to turn the section that is currently torn out into either a rock garden or a clover lawn. We are in zone 3b. The overgrown section in the back is a fire pit area and the fence will eventually be replaced as well.
The area gets very hot through the day which is why a lawn might be nice, however we do have dogs so gravel and stepping stones and a few plants would likely hold up to the wear and tear better.
I am totally new to all of his so I’d love any advice or opinions!
