Is This a Good Plan For My Garden?

For context:

I live in Zone 6b, and am planning to plant on July 15th. The bed is 4ftx8ftx16in. I am planning to use the Square Foot method of gardening, since it looks nice to my micro-management brain and I’m a beginner.

I am looking for a diverse amount of opinions so I can really figure out what is best for my garden, so please do not hold back criticism — or good resources for me to follow! I’m super open to changing all of this, since I haven’t bought any seeds yet and I can always compost the tomato plants I have for transplanting.

I am going to leave a comment providing a picture of the garden bed as well (I am going to add some hardwood mulch on top, along with a top-off of compost from a coworker!)

FYI: The last 4 squares are empty because I can’t figure out what to put there, suggestions are greatly appreciated! :3
