What kind of rubber plant is this? Bought it unlabeled at a grocery store. Bought this yesterday. Never had a rubber plant before and I couldn’t resist these colors. I let it acclimate the rest of the day and overnight. I was going to let it acclimate longer but I didn’t like the soil it was in (condensed, soppy wet). I repotted it into chunky soil with potting soil, pumice, perlite, bark, some peat moss and some earth worm castings. I did research that it is toxic to pets, so it is confined to my room, away from the dogs. And to not touch any part of it with bare hands, or at least to wash your hands right after. Since it was an impulse buy I need to jockey around some other plants to figure out where to put it long term. It is currently about 10 feet away from my west windowsill, in the direct path of the sunbeams, but it is high on my desk shelf so the sun pathway only briefly hits it in the evening.
