What did I do to my grass? Earlier in the spring, I put down crabgrass preventer that I believe had fertilizer in it (from Home Depot). Then before leaving for a one week vacation, I put down a granular weed and feed, also from Home Depot. It was supposed to rain later that day but I’m not sure it really panned out. Came back from vacation to all these brown streaky areas of dead grass. Worse in some areas than others. Could it be that it didn’t get watered in? Or would there be a different explanation?
