Watermelon peperomia help! I got this watermelon peperomia for my birthday. It just started dropping tons of leaves and they were black and shrivelled at the base of the stems. The poor thing, can I save it? What's causing this? I thought it was a relatively thirsty plant but it is about 2m back from a window. I have a humidity meter by it because I read these babies like more moisture and don't like to dry out too much. Now I'm afraid I've overwatered it as the root ball seems way too small for the pot it came in. It's in a pot with holes, in a decorative pot with pebbles in the bottom so it wasn't sat in water.
