Choice paralysis on what to do here 9b. There's a long strip along the side of the house that I want to make look nicer. I feel bad that Ive left it looking like this. I only just finished weeding it (so many grasses) and left a volunteer poppy plant. I'm thinking of getting stepping stones down the middle or left side. Also think I will have to remove a lot of the soil so it isn't touching the bottom of the fence? My husband likes to feed one of the neighborhood cats on the fence in front of the window so he needs to be able to walk down without getting attacked by plants. I'm considering planting vegetables but the area doesn't get much sun but also considering a bunch of native plants that I can feed my tortoise. I'm also worried about watering plants against the house... Not sure if that will cause any damage. Any opinions/advice would be appreciated.
