  • My first zucchini

I’m doing my first garden and my first zucchini is growing! I may have been little overzealous with planting, but things are starting to grow!

  • My zz keeps leaning

    Hello everyone,
I've had this zz for a couple months and I realized some of the branches keeps growing outwards instead of vertically.
Should I get some twine and bind it or should I do something else? I tried pushing the soil down but it's so crumbly that it doesn't work.

    Anyone has any tips?

  • She Bloomed Today

It's still amazes me how different #Hibiscus will bloom so randomly from other ones planted @ the same time. I have some that bloomed a couple of weeks ago. This one bloomed just today. Nevertheless, I actually had no idea of the specific color it would be. I am pleasantly surprised!

  • Mighty Mulberry

In her 40th year! She has been a home & provider of nourishment for wildlife. Memories of young & old with purplish red hands & feet. Any advice on pruning & care for this elderly tree?

  • Birds of Paradise? (saved from spider mites once)

I bought this birds of paradise from a reputable plant shop, and it arrived quite healthy. It got a bad spider mite infestation that was visible, and I sprayed and cleaned the leaves daily for almost 2 weeks until I seemed to have gotten them all. The leaves are continuing to turn brown like this, but I can't see any visible mites.

The plant has always been indoors, it is next to a large window with a lot of such each day. I tried watering once every two weeks, I increased to 1x per week, decreased again to roughly once every 10 days. The top few inches of soil are dry before I water.

Am I watering incorrectly? Should I re-pot? Are there still mites that I can't see?

  • Is this dude a goner?

So for context, this dude was growing normally yesterday. I saw that it had shriveling leaves and that the pot was light and bone dry, so I watered it. I found it looking like this evening. Is it a lost cause?

    Growing conditions:
    - Bright morning sunlight, afternoon shade
    - Tropical weather
