• What’s wrong with my rubber plant ?? I moved the location to get more sun but she’s still turning brown. I changed the soil and don’t water it as often.

  • Yellowing?

This leaf is usually near a vent, but I keep my system off .. what could this mean? All other leaves I think are fine and it’s grown 2 new leaves recently- I refresh and top off water as needed and it gets a decent amount of light but could use more- which is why I move it down here on sunny / humid days

  • Lilac care

Are your Lilacs in full tilt bloom? Are you unsure of how to properly care for them?

Lilacs have a very specific set of pruning requirements.

We discuss all this and more on a recent episode of The Growing Season.

  • Pretty sure this isn’t poison ivy…right?

I swear every other day I’m coming across a different three-leafed specimen in my yard. This one gave me some pause because of the three relatively similar sized leaves that are at the end of the more mature stems (the most prominent one is tough to see in the photo as it’s obscured by the rest of the plant). But the smaller, opposite pair of leaves that occur down each stem make me think it’s not PI and maybe a sapling of some sort. Can someone confirm one way or another?

  • Crested Euphorbia Ammak

I have this fairly large crested euphorbia ammak that I just love and want to propagate. But where and how? It’s not like a normal succulent with stems and such. Can anyone help?

  • What else to add prior to the plants?

I feel like im relying too much on the plants to make this interesting and im just trying to brainstorm some ideas to give it a little more character. I was thinking of adding a bigger piece of black lava rock to one of the corners, but even that makes this just 2 pieces of corkbark and some rocks. Anything you guys would do here? (Im going for a foresty type look as I realize I forgot to mention that, also this is my first if that isnt apparent.)
