Help with fittonia The jar on the right is more established, maybe 6 months. The fittonia grows voraciously for a slow growing species, with vibrant pink streaks. I took clippings from the right jar and started planting them one by one in the left jar. They are much slower growing, more lifeless, and dull in color. They both get indirect morning sun. Could it be too much moisture on the left jar? The right jar is barely damp, almost looks dry but the fittonia is thriving. My thyme is dying after less than a week I got this thyme very recently, and now it's wilting and becoming crunchy, after a very short span of time. Actually I got 3 plants, a lavender, a thyme and a mint, and they're all doing... Not so great, but the thyme is especially having a rough time. I have no idea what happened, at first I thought, hey, maybe I don't need to water it very much, it's a thyme after all. But then it started wilting so fast, and I watered it a bit. These last 3 days I watered it every day, but it's still doing badly. It happened ridiculously fast, like the moment I brought it here, it started dying. I really don't think I overwatered it, because it was already having trouble the minute I brought it here, and I didn't water it much at first. Plus, the pot drains very well. Bear in mind it was really hot these last few days, but still, thyme should be fine with that... Any idea why that is happening? Is there any chance I can save it? Advice on salvaging a leggy fiddle leaf I’m considering buying this lot with a very leggy fiddle leaf included and trying to figure if then fiddle leaf is worth trying to salvage. I’m thinking I’d try notching it, but is there a limit to how many notches one can do to fill out a plant? I’m also thinking I could notch it and once a few new shoots start, then I could chop and prop the top. Thoughts? Or is this looking like it’s beyond repair? I live in VT, so the plants would all be placed indoors by a south west corner of the house that gets afternoon sun and be watered regularly. I work from home so plant care is one of the things I do to unwind between meetings, but would be good to know if there’s anything else to take into consideration.
