I live in the country-ish, and have a gravel driveway. Our road drains right through our driveway, and has created a large stream. How would you divert the road drainage?

This is sr Augustine grass. Installers came about a week ago and I just realized they left this gap. Is this a big deal? Should I call them back to finish this or will it fill in after a while?
