Northeast Ohio problems Looking for some advice. I took an above ground pool out last fall. It left a hole in the yard 19 feet wide by 36 feet long. The yard tapered down so the hole was 14 inches at the deepest and about 4 inches at the highest. I hired a company to come fill it. They filled it with fill dirt then put 2 inches of topsoil on it. They then seeded it and put some straw over it. This is how it grew. I’m assuming one guy knew how to seed and the other guy didn’t. Anyway, I’m not worried about the grass at this point. The problem I’m having is that I cannot walk on a majority of it without sinking into it. Usually sinking about 4-6 inches. I called the company and he said it just needs to dry out. That was two weeks ago. Nothing has changed and I still sink in it. Called him back and again he said it needs to dry out and that he had sold his business, so I’m done with him.
