• A portulacaria afra I purchased from Ebay. Seller shipped trunk only.

Seller had three of these growing in gallon pots. I figured, "heck, why not". I'll post in the future as this takes.

  • Gazebo/patio paver ideas?Too much weed growing

How do I improve my backyard patio floor. The loose pebbles and sand in between pavers grow a lot of weed. Looking to DIY.

I’d like to keep the pavers as they are since irs too hard to remove them.
What can I replace the pebbles with? Or are there pebble varieties that dont move easily?

These tiny ones blow over easily and the sand is easily displaced

  • Can anyone tell me wtf this is?

Our front lawn is totally ruined with these buggers. We had a weed company come and spray last week and these popped up within a couple days. How do we get rid of them? Located in the prairies, Canada.

  • Rot and new growth?

Basically what the title says. My crassula ovata has new growth and rot at the same time. Can I save that new growth by propagating?

  • Look at the little mushroom I found hiding by my beets

I think I read somewhere that the mycelium growth is beneficial for the garden so yay. I would love to grow wine caps one day but the spores are so pricey and I am cheap

  • Monstera Starting Journey

I got a monstera on clearance from target 3 years ago, and this is a propagation from it. I am excited to try to get this to grow and be as beautiful as some of the ones I've seen on this sub!

I look forward to the journey xD

  • Black bean blues 🫛

Recently planted these black beans in a container (5gal bucket, previously she was kept on a patio as part of a small container garden—but is currently indoors to monitor closely). The leaves have slowly become covered with silvery spots. No evidence of pests, so my only guess is some type of fungus or disease. Any thoughts?

I’m watering at regular intervals—typically once a week, twice if the soil feels dry. The pot has adequate drainage, and I’ve tried a few different locations to optimize light. Currently she’s by a sliding glass door to increase light exposure.

The spots appear to “eat through” the leaf over time and leaves will often turn yellow and drop off. Is there any hope to save the plant?

  • I’m so excited. My first Ichiban eggplant is flowering!

This is my first real attempt at gardening. I’ve done containers before, but only a couple at a time. This year, I might’ve gone a little overboard, but that’s OK because I’ll share. This was the plant I was most excited to see grow because it was basically on death’s door when I saw it at a local nursery.
